In addition to monetary gifts, in-kind donations help us provide important material items for the ladies and babies we serve. To assist with that we keep an ongoing wish list and an Amazon wish list.

We are constantly in need of clothing for both mom and baby. Specifically, we need outfits that young women can use for school, work and job interviews.

We are always also in need of computers, software, furniture, and office equipment, for use by our organization or for special events.

Your donation allows us to provide a safe home for young women and their children, and to assist them in making healthy life choices by offering spiritual, emotional, and material support.

Planned giving and charitable trusts

Planned giving offers the opportunity to arrange now for a charitable donation that will be paid in the future. There are several options for planned giving. The simplest is to include a bequest to Covered Waters in your will. Another option is to designate Covered Waters as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy or your retirement plan. You can also plan a gift by making a charitable trust part of your estate plan.

Valuable assets

If you have a car, boat, or another type of vehicle sitting in your garage, consider putting it to good use as part of your annual charitable giving. Covered Waters accepts donated vehicles to use for its day-to-day operations. If that is not a need we will sell it or auction it off for cash.
