Board President

Nicole Meyer is passionate about people and Jesus. She is a mom, a foster parent, a recreational therapist, a substitute teacher, and is currently finishing her master's degree in school counseling. Nicole was formerly the executive director of a non-profit serving kids with special needs and continues to advocate for kids with various needs in her community. Nicole and her husband have three young boys who keep them very busy.

Lori is Board Secretary

Melissa J. MacDonald is a leader of leaders, coach, author, and prolific speaker. She's considered one of the leading voices in children's and family ministry today. She has a Master of Arts in Counseling and Leadership. She and her husband are foster parents and reside in Iowa with their cute puppy Bogey.

Abby Roesch lives in Omaha, NE with her husband Tim - three children - Simon, Lucy, and Ziggy, 2 giant horse-like poodles named Peggy Spaghetti and Glen Coco, and 2 orange tabby cats named Dennis and Ted. Abby works in Student Housing at Creighton University. She is passionate about hospitality and people feeling a deep sense of home, both physically and relationally. She is excited to team up with Covered Waters, because ALL mothers should know they are not only worthy of giving and receiving love, but worthy of giving and receiving a place and people to call home.
